Shanacia Thomasson

6TH GRADE MATH TEACHER, CLARKSVILLE-MONTGOMERY COUNTY SCHOOL SYSTEM

​Shanacia Thomasson is an experienced mother, wife, and educator. Driven by innovation that is contributed only through diversity, she takes pride in providing the best leadership and decision-making possible. As a 6th grade Math Instructor, her goals include influencing students, peers, and aspiring to become an administrator. In addition to her primary job functions, Shanacia has been recognized by Tennessee Educators of Color Alliance and Clarksville Montgomery County Education Association (Green Apple Teacher ’15, ’16 and Distinguished Teacher ’18) for her extraordinary commitment to education.
