The mission of TECA is to amplify the voice, presence, and support of educators of color while remaining student-centered and solutions-oriented.
Not only do students of color deserve educators that resemble them in the classroom, but they also need those same individuals to have the skills necessary to advocate on their and their communities' behalf. We at TECA strive to ensure that people with shared experiences (all teachers were once students) can address the persistent inequalities and disparities students of color face.
We want:
