Michael Adkins

Michael Rashon Adkins, is an instructional leader and
currently serves as Dean of Students at Napier
Elementary School in MNPS. Michael, a Nashville native,
has worked in the rural, urban, and charter sectors of
education. He was 2020 Teacher of the Year, a District
Teacher Leader, member of the 2021 Director of Schools
Educator Cabinet. He earned an undergraduate degree in
Early Childhood Education with a minor in Psychology
from Tennessee State University and a Master of
Education from Trevecca Nazarene University.
