Mavis Foster

​Mavis Foster joined Knox County Schools in 2001 as a second-
grade teacher at Maynard Elementary upon graduating from the
University of Tennessee, Knoxville. During her time with Knox
County Schools, she has also taught fifth grade at Maynard
Elementary School and Green Magnet Academy. Currently, she
serves as an Elementary Literacy Coach at Green Magnet
Academy.

Mavis Foster holds a bachelor's degree in Sociology and a
master's degree in Education, from the University of Tennessee,
and an education specialist degree in Administration and
Supervision from Lincoln Memorial University.
