Lindsey MattinglyMANAGER OF RESIDENT DEVELOPMENT, NASHVILLE TEACHER RESIDENCY
Lindsey grew up sharing her time between a small river town in Western Kentucky and the sunny city of San Diego. For the first five years of her career, Lindsey worked in nonprofit development and community education. After graduating from Western Kentucky University with a degree in English Literature, Lindsey and her family eventually moved to Nashville, TN where she began her career teaching middle school literacy. After years teaching in Nashville public schools and coaching new teachers through TNTP, Lindsey joined Nashville Teacher Residency in 2019. Now, she leads the organization’s equity strategy and leads anti-racist and culturally responsive curriculum. She holds an MS in Education from John Hopkins University School. She is married and has three children who are students in MNPS.
