I am a 21 year old woman that is blessed with a family that cares and supports my aspirations and my goals for the future. I am a woman of mixed race, mixed with black and white. Because of this, I have encountered a handful of racial experiences that resulted in a rollercoaster of emotion towards my appearance, but it also helped me grow and appreciate my skin. I am on my way to become an educator of color in the 21st century and I am hoping to make an impact on students of all races, ethnicities, and backgrounds. I hope to provide diverse educational experiences for my students that allows my students to create and have different connections with all walks of life.
