Chandler DavenportChandler Davenport is a native of Fort Washington, MD, and a product of the Prince George’s County Public school system. She graduated from The University of the South in May 2019 and moved to Chattanooga to begin her teaching career with the Project Inspire Teaching Residency. After one year of residency at Brainerd High School, Chandler graduated with a Masters of Art in Teaching from Lee University in August of 2020. She also began teaching at The Howard School in Chattanooga where she has been for two years teaching 9th grade World History. Chandler will continue teaching at Howard for the 22-23 school year. Outside of the classroom she is part of the inaugural cohort of the Aspiring Lead Teachers program and co-lead for the Missionary Ridge Learning Community for the Equity in Action Committee.
