Fellowship Curriculum

Our individualized curriculum is the backbone of our Fellowship.
Fellows are provided with at minimum 24 hours of content and are also asked to complete independent work.

Individualized Experience

Fellows are asked several questions during the application process and again once selected to help narrow down their interests. We asks Fellows to think about:

When you think of addressing inequities for students of color, are you thinking of a particular example or practice?
When you think of addressing cultural, racial, and implicit bias in school/district settings, are you thinking of a particular example or practice?
When you think of your personal trajectory and leadership development, what do you hope to be your outcome?

We then explore these answers to develop our programming and solicit speakers.

Book Studies

Fellows also engage with 2-3 texts, podcasts, or episodes during their experience. We have facilitated conversations every other month to discuss. Book discussions- also offer the rich opportunity to build community among Fellows. We refer to these as "Happy Hours," and encourage Fellows to attend as they are.
