Connect. Represent. Recruit. Build.

The TECA Ambassador program selects educators throughout the state to:

  • Expand TECA's reach and impact across Tennessee
  • Build and strengthen connections among educators of color
  • Champion TECA at local and regional levels to foster community and grow our professional network 


Ambassador Commitments

  • Attend quarterly Ambassador meetings
  • Co-host one regional networking event
  • Attend and volunteer at two community events annually
  • Consistently promote TECA programs and opportunities
  • Recruit prospective TECA participants throughout the year
  • Build relationships that expand TECA’s statewide impact


Ambassador Benefits

  • Receive a $300 Ambassador stipend
  • Receive a small budget to support approved Ambassador activities
  • Represent TECA at sponsored events and programs
  • Expand your statewide professional network
