Juan Pablo Martinez works at Teach for America, as the Manager of Alumni Experience. He strengths the collective impact of their alumni network by helping alums to connect with and support each other and to work together toward a shared vision for educational equity. He ensures that their alums are connected and have the opportunity to support and lead each other in this work. He is originally from Ecuador and received a Bachelor of Organizational Psychology from Pontificia Universidad Católica del Ecuador in Quito. Juan Pablo kicked off his career working for CHH Moore Stephens, leading projects in organizational development and headhunting. In 2013, he co-founded Enseña Ecuador (Teach for Ecuador) as a part of the Teach For All Network. In his 5 years with Enseña Ecuador, he developed and managed the team’s approach to talent, eventually serving as the National Human Talent Coordinator. Juan Pablo joined the TFA Nashville-Chattanooga team as the Coordinator, Regional Operations in 2018, and became the Manager of Alumni Experience in October 2019. Juan Pablo also serves as a board member of the Tennessee Educators of Color Alliance. He holds a Master’s in Education in Organizational Leadership and Communication from Belmont University.
