Monthly Meetings

TNECA encourages each chapter to conduct a monthly meeting.  These meetings should provide an opportunity for training and also allow time to conduct any necessary business.  Training programs will be made available for use throughout the state.  As the organization expands further we plan to offer large scale training sessions using the most modern and efficient techniques.

TNECA is now developing goals for the next 2 year and 5 year periods.  Many other organizations around the state will be actively involved with us in the planning process.  There are exciting times ahead as we evolve toward the next major step in our journey in Public Service.

We began a series of "refresher" workshop sessions designed to strengthen our knowledge of the Incident Command System and National Incident Management System.  The key principles will be included in all future exercises.  NIMS compliance is mandatory for all TNECA volunteers.

To be USEFUL, we MUST be READY.
To be READY, we MUST be TRAINED.
To be TRAINED, we MUST plan AHEAD.
