Tennessee Emergency Communications Association

Funding

Our most recent fund raising event took place on May 10, 2008 and was a quite successful.  We truly appreciate the support from the community with "goodie" donations, purchases and cash contributions.  Many thanks to the team that setup and staffed the Yard Sale event.  Hats off to Sue Cower, John Henderson, JT Myers, Andrew Thomas, George Reeder, John Stockberger, Joe Koester and Paul Drothler for all the time and effort required to make this event successful.

Numerous contributions have been received from several counties and EmCom organizations within TN.  Equipment donations have also been received from supporters in GA and AL.   Many thanks to everyone who has provided equipment or funding to help us maintain our existing services and enhance our capabilities.  Additional fund raising events are planned in the near future and will be posted as soon as the details are finalized.

All staffing of the TNECA is with 100% volunteer personnel.  However, the association has operating expenses for equipment, insurance and supplies.  The organization has very significant goals - all developed to better serve the needs of Tennessee and nearby states in times of emergency.  All contributions - no matter how large or small - are greatly appreciated.

The TNECA is incorporated as a non-profit, 501(c)(3), organization.  Your donations are tax deductible and  appropriate receipts will be provided to you or your organization.

If you would like to help the TNECA grow and achieve its goal of being able to fully serve in times of emergency then please send your tax deductible contribution to our President.
